What is the best method to use to bundle catalog items together .. like a PC and an Monitor item? So when a user selects an item all the child stuff comes along with it?

Hi Anto,
You can create a Model that has Model components, but with this method, you need to be sure to identify the other components you want when you source the request.
Alternately, you could create an Order Guide where the user selects the PC and then any add-ons, such as a monitor, and then the request would have requested items for each of the items you need to source. This is the approach I would use over bundles. You could start with all the additional items selected, or just always include them.

Thanks Ben for the valid info.
tried with the second approach but in order guide we couldn't make the quantity field for item to be visible in cart and make the requester change the quantity for item as like in catalog items.
So now tried the first approach which is like creating a product catalog, added child items as model components and publishing it a hardware or software catalog category and while requesting its not showing the model components in the order status or in the RITM. So how can we add this as child items to the parent items while ordering a catalog item.
Thanks
Alad.

I'm sure you've moved on @aladpereira but in order to see the individual RITMS on the catalog item you'll need to set the catalog item type field to "bundle". You can do this via the list view on the catalog item [sc_cat_item] list. Catalog Type = Item (default)
Catalog Item Type = Bundle

I've created the bundle and added the associated components like your screenshot. However, when i get to the sourcing page it shows that I have 0 in stock even though there are plenty that are in stock and available.
Is there a step I'm missing to allow sourcing of the bundle assets?
