Hello,
I’m currently working with modern Workspaces in ServiceNow (built in UI Builder, including Agent Workspace), and I need to create automated tests using the Automated Test Framework (ATF).
I know that ATF supports classic UI elements, but I’m not sure about its full compatibility with UI Builder components. Specifically:
Can ATF interact with and validate components in modern Workspaces?
Are there specific ATF test step types for UI Builder (e.g., “UI Test for Workspace”) that I should be using?
Are there known limitations for certain component types (like custom Now Experience components)?
Is adding 'data-test-id' attributes still the recommended best practice for targeting workspace elements?
If anyone has experience or official guidance on ATF’s capabilities and limitations in this context, I’d greatly appreciate your insights.
Thanks!

you can but there are limited OOTB steps available in ATF.
If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.
