Hello all,
I am new to ServiceNow, I am trying to find out is there a approach or a feature available in ServiceNow - when there is a alert received into ServiceNow that our Website is down, can it be able to display a maintenance page, so that when a customer trying to access our Website they see a maintenance page if our site is down?.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
RTG.

There are to many part here.  ServiceNow cannot take of your website as that is based on DNS.  It sounds like you would need to involve other team to be able to somehow redirect your website when it it down to ServiceNow.  My thought would be to just put an alert in ServiceNow so when your customer goes to contact you they can see that the site is down and you are working on it.  If you are using outage module you have have this ability.

Thank you for Sharing your opinion with me,

yes, you are right i did configuration using event management my ServiceNow instance able to receive ALERTS from other monitoring tool that if our website is down at any particular locations, and then ServiceNow creates a ticket, so from hear i am trying to find out a way that it can display maintenance page or showing our customers that we are working on it.

can you please kindly share me any documentation which can help me to accomplish this task.

Thank you Brain.

It would only work when they login to ServiceNow if you are suing the service portal but there are some widgets that you can use to display outages.

Service Portal Service Status Widgets

sure, i will try to find out in that way to accomplish this task,

Thanks alot for your help Brain.
