Change in two step, but not use the template

Hi,

We want use the "standard change" by using Template, but we have an issue, change can be created with template but some fields could be not settings (mandatory fields) because using template create a change object when apply the template model, and user can close the tab without setting value in mandatory fields. the result is the change is not created with all need fields.

We find a two_step settings for standard change plateform, but if using it, the standard change not use the template.

What solution to using template but note create change in same time, but only after "submit" the form (form with field mandatory)

Atul: What is change model here? You can use either standard change template or model. You can auto populate the value of mandatory filed via template.

Please provide screen shot reference to understand better.

we using the Template to populate standard change (screen-shot join)

but when use it we get a created change (secreen-shot), the change object here CHG0008484, but some mandatory field are not set, if the user close the tab, the change existe in the list of new change but without all need fields and it's a real problem.

The mandatory Fields is needed and can't be setting by the template, it's the user need to set values.

I tried in my PDI and it is working as expected , means giving error for mandatory. Check thsi KB.

In fact the submit is made because using standard template change create the change object, it's not created after the submit but before, and this is the issue in fact.

Change exist (created by standard template use) but some fields stay empty and mandatory, and if the user simply close the browser tab, the change stay existing with some fields empty (mandatory fields) the question is to find solution to not create the change object by using the template standard change, but if we use the property "two_step" no template are applying we get a empty change.
