Change Management- Sent reminder 15 minutes prior to planned start time

We would like to sent reminder to the assigned to person 15 minutes prior to each change request planned start time.

Eg.

Change request planned start date/time is 02-06-2018 08:00 PM

We would like to sent reminder to the assigned to person at 02-06-2018 07:45 PM regarding the change request deployment.

This is applicable for all the active change requests.

Did anyone implemented this? please advice.

HI Lakshmi,



If you have the Notify Change Calendar notification active, that will send out a meeting request to the assigned to person when the planned start and end dates are set so their Outlook calendar will be populated with an event and they will be notified by Outlook.



If you want to generate a new notification you'll need to do it with a scheduled job to check the change_request table for upcoming changes and then generating an event if it finds one that is due.
