Change Ticket closed when the all Task closed under that Change Ticket

Hello Everyone ,

 

      I have one requirement like below

Whenever any person tries to close a CHG ticket, if any CTASK is Open in that CHG ticket, the Snow should through a Pop-up stating "There are pending CTASKS to be closed, please close the CTASKS, so the change can be closed" and the Snow should NOT allow the person to Close that Change ticket.

 

Please Provide solution as per above requirement

in place of before checking the actions i want to alert the users with notification. is it possible with Workflow.

If possible how.

You can send notifications, but in my experience, users often set up auto-notification rules and don’t actually read them. So, alert messages are a better option.
