I wish to appear for CIS ITSM exam but am unaware of its pre-requisites.
I cleared my admin certification in September 2016. Since ServiceNow has made a lot of changes, I am not sure if I will have to re appear for admin and then only I can appear for CIS - ITSM or i can directly appear for CIS ITSM.
Also, what will be the validity of this exam.
Please guide.
Thanks,
Vineetha

Hey vineetha_rohra
i got the information for your query, i hope this is what you are looking for.
if you are a ServiceNow partner and want your certification to be recognised for the partnershipagreement, then yes, you need to be re-certified before 31 March 2018 (the deadline was recently extended). As you may guess, this re-certification process is widely unpopular.
If you are not a partner, then my advice is not to bother with the re-certification process. The certifications themselves have no expiration dates on the certificate.
Please note that there is a new recertification process in place. To find out more you can go to the training website (https://www.servicenow.com/services/training-and-certification.html).
Any exam taken prior to January 1, 2017 is now expiring and you will need retake your certification exam by 31 March 2018 (extended date) to stay certified.
If you were accredited, you need to switch to certification by 1 July 2018.
Please not that Certification Validity is current Release, +1.
Example: Exams taken January 1 — Sept 30, 2017 are on Istanbul and you will need to re-certify on Kingston. Any exam taken on or after October 1, 2017 is on Jakarta and you will need to re-certify on London.

CSA and CIS certificate expiration

I did the same.
