Click component test step in ATF

Hi Community,

The click component (custom UI) always get stuck and couldn’t retrieve the further components.  Sometimes ATFs are successful and sometimes it got failed because of this test step.

Want to understand why this happens and how can we resolve this?

there is no guarantee that it would always fetch the HTML components.

Even if you are able to fetch it might fail later on

Is there any solution for this? We are creating ATFs for change management and their we have lot many test steps where we are using click component. Without that we can’t see any other solution of this.

Hi @Poorva Bhawsar 

It depends upon your customization, if it fails just retrieve, this is only option available and in ATF it is well known limitation not able identify the element after upgrade.
