Contract management state

I have been asked to look at the contract management application for possible implementation, there seems to be a problem with the State field updating from Draft, even when the Substate is Approved and the Start and End dates are within range.

I think I am right in saying that there is a job that runs nightly to check the Conditional Check Definitions and also Run Condition Checks will run this job manually.   I have left it over night and ran the manual check.

The Condition Check definition is below. Can anyone advise where the problems maybe or any advice where to check?

Many thanks,

Dan

Thank you but will that solve for removing the Approval piece.

I don't want the approval piece at all in the workflow. I am doing this now.

Stay tuned for my response.

Thank you Michael. You are a genius.

I think I answered my own question about the approver piece.

I've already removed the approval step from the workflow, I changed the default value back to Active and I updated the ACL on the write for the contract model field. I will have the customer test to see if this solves for their dilemma.

Wouldn't go that far, but glad it worked out!

I will mark this correct as soon as my customer finishes testing, but I know it should be okay.

Hey Michael one more question now the ask is to Lock down the contracts so that only a specific group of people can see a certain type of contract.

So only the people in a certain department can see the contracts that has a Contract Department = "XYZ"

I am trying to do an ACL for this or is there a better way to accomplish.
