Since there are many computers in CMDB, if a change is created that would impact all computers, which CI should be selected ?  Each CI is a unqiue computer.

Hi @TedHung ,

You cannot select 1 CI for change on multiple computers. ( You need to select all by adding them to affected CI Related list on change form )

For your case you need to select any one computer CI in configure item field on change form as primary and add more CI to Affected or impacted CI list in change related list.

I hope this helps....

Hi @TedHung

I think you can use the Dynamics CI group here or create 1 change on 1 CI and rest CI you need to add manually.

I understand each CI is unique computer.  Given that thousands PC CI records, I am looking for an efficient way for the person preparing for the Change.
