Create a change for all computers - which CI to select ?

Since there are many computers in CMDB, if a change is created that would impact all computers, which CI should be selected ?  Each CI is a unqiue computer.

I think in this case create a master CI and then link all computers with same.

Do you have an example of how to set up a master CI and how it links to each computer CI ?

NO , I have example handy for this, but you can create the way you create normal CI and relationship.

Review this article. This article only covers one use case (Happy Path) which is when a CI is selected on the Change Request for the first time. You will have to consider automatically refreshing the Affected CI list if the change owner updates the CI field or removes the CI followed by saving the record:
