Hi everyone. I think I already know the answer is no, but can someone please confirm whether Universal Requests can be configured with custom tables that have not been extended from task? I have successfully configured UR with other custom tables that are extended, but when I attempt to do it from a custom table that hasn't been extended from task, the table does not appear in the tables reference field in UR configuration forms. The documentation doesn't explicitly state whether it's possible or not.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Unfortunately, it does need to be a table extending from task. Per the Universal Task data model, it's designed to work with Task table and extended tables. In fact, the Task table was modified to make this work (as this feature was released well after the Task table was originally created). Please refer to this documentation as well which shows the data model, etc. https://docs.servicenow.com/en-US/bundle/vancouver-employee-service-management/page/product/universa...
Please consider marking my reply as Helpful and/or Accept Solution, if applicable. Thanks!

@Brad Warman Universal Request only supports Task and its extended tables (incident, problem, change etc.). This is also mentioned in the documentation as well.
