Is it possible to add and replace custom regex in the email field in user form?
(when i'm trying to create a user with email "abc-:de@email.com", i'm getting invalid email warning and unable to create the user.)

@mohitt1

the email address you shared is invalid.

Why would you update the OOB Regex?

If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.

@mohitt1 - What is use case to update the regex also email shared in your question is not proper. I don't think that is typo.
I would not dare to replace regex to accept invalid email as showed.

If my response has helped you hit helpful button and if your concern is solved do mark my response as correct.

I'm working on something where the email of the user comes from the combination of two fields, as naming convention. there is this case where we got " -" from one field and " : " in my email, now it is showing this error.
 (also, i'm able to insert this email via list view but not via form view)

@mohitt1

how are your users getting created?

Is it via LDAP?

Why would someone create a fresh user in production via New button which has form view in it?
