When you set a policy that is applied to all data entered into the platform ( UI, import sets or web services ? Where does this policy required the default ?

Hi @Ashok Kumar ,
What i understand from your question is
if you create a UI policy, it will restrict the data only on Forms
but if you create a Data policy, it will restrict the data to be entered from any where like import sets or Web services whatever it is.

Data policies are created on tables fields based on conditions. There is no concept of server side policy and client side policy. Only from one place we can create data policy so that it will restrict all the sources (client side data insertions(like forms and Lists) or Server Side data insertions (Business Rules, import sets, web resources etc..)

Hi Bharath
Please provide the sollution for this question .
Department uses SLA data extensively to run reports. they keep asking for help with
building reports off of the same set of tables. they seem to be conducted by dot walking.
What could you do to make it easier for them to build their reports?
1) write knowledge articles explaining how to do dot walking
Or
2.create a data source for them and show them how to use it .
