Hi @Ashok Kumar ,

What i understand from your question is

if you create a UI policy, it will restrict the data only on Forms

but if you create a Data policy, it will restrict the data to be entered from any where like import sets or Web services whatever it is.

Yes barath thank for reply ,

My question is where does this policy required by default ?

Client side or Server side ?

Data policies are created on tables fields based on conditions. There is no concept of server side policy and client side policy. Only from one place we can create data policy so that it will restrict all the sources (client side data insertions(like forms and Lists) or Server Side data insertions (Business Rules, import sets, web resources etc..)

Hi Bharath

Please provide the sollution for this question .

Department uses SLA data extensively to run reports. they keep asking for help with
building reports off of the same set of tables. they seem to be conducted by dot walking.
What could you do to make it easier for them to build their reports?
1) write knowledge articles explaining how to do dot walking

                Or

2.create a data source for them and show them how to use it .
