Default value showing as "null" instead of --None--

on form while new form open field is showing as null instead of --None--  as below

It maybe that you're opening an existing record where you've already saved a default value.

Can you confirm what happens when you create a new record. Does it default with --None-- ?

 

If that's the case, for all the records where it's not displaying --None-- where it should be, you'll have to update them.

The good news is, for all newly created records moving forward will be as required.

Hello @shweta14 ,

I think you can achieve this simply by selecting option as "Dropdown with --None--" in choice list specification on that field instead of setting it via default value.
