Display Additional field information in ticket page for portals

Hi Everyone,

When a user navigates to My Requests and open an incident in a portal, only Short Description is visible(ticket page). But I also need to display Description.

Is there any easy way to do this without updating Standard Ticket header widget ?

Please pour your Insights.

Hi there @Madhan007 

 

You don’t necessarily need to customize the Standard Ticket Header widget. In the portal record page, you can add a new widget or simple variable field to display incident.description. Another easy option is to configure the Form widget with a custom view that includes Description, then place it below the header. so that you can avoid modifying OOTB widgets and still show extra fields on tcket page

@Madhan007 - i was able to clone and modify the Standard ticket header widget. and it is working for me.

I have attached the xml of widget for your reference.
