Email is marked as sent in the logs but not received by recipient (PDI)

Hi All,

 

Recently i configured a EMAIL Account Server in the instance for SMTP and connection is successful.

 

And whenever an notification got triggered to event, an email is showing as sent in the email logs but the recipient did not receive the notification.

 

Could you please help on this issue?

I am sure it will not go out as PDI infra is still with SN and firewall will be block this. So conclusion in PDI  emails are not allowed.

Can we configure SMS instead of emails? Will it be allowed?

Yes, SMS can be done but need the all set up.

 

check the plugin Notify in ServiceNow or we can send SMS from Email as well. These both article cover your need.
