I am working as a developer on an Enhancement (rm_enhancement) and creating user stories directly from the Enhancement record so they stay linked as child records.
I noticed two things on the Story form (rm_story):
The Backlog field on the Story form appears as read-only, so I cannot select or assign a backlog manually.
I do not see a direct need to click "Add to Backlog" before moving/working on a story, or I want to create the story now and assign it to a developer later during sprint planning.
Could someone clarify:
Why is the Backlog field read-only out-of-the-box (OOB)? Is it populated automatically by Assignment Group / Product, or via the Agile Board?
What is the OOB best-practice workflow for creating stories under an Enhancement when they will be assigned to a sprint/developer at a later date?
