To get software counters to move counts from "not entitled" over to "entitled in use", we have to manually add a machine CI as a "Asset License Entitlement". This seems odd that you would need to do this manually for all CIs.
Seems there should be a hook to make this happen automatically. What are we missing?
Thanks in advance.

Trying to understand how this process works as well. Is there a quick way to make these not entitled to entitled? Could not find that process in any documentation. Anyone know how this is suppose to work?

Entitlements are made on the Software License record, but the information is stored in a related table. You can configure your process to create these entitlements as part of a request moving forward. If you have a large number of entitlements to set initially, I recommend an import set as the fastest method. I don't have time to put together the details right now, but would be happy to do so if there is interest.

How do you script the import set to load multiple people for one record? For example, I have a software license record with 200 rights, and I need to import all of the users who are entitled. When I do a standard import and transform map it only adds the first user. I'm hoping there is an easier way to do this then manually entering them on the software license record itself.
