We are preserving the 'sys_certificate' table during clone.
We would like to exclude the 'sys_certificate' during clone as well to ensure no custom Prod certificate is being pulled into non-prod. However, we would want to know how the ServiceNow certificates work.
Example -
My Prod instance is in Yokohama version.
Non-prod is in Zurich version.
Upon clone, the non-prod would change back to Yokohama version, is this case, if we exclude the 'sys_certificate' table during clone, what impact we could have.
Or may be any info on how the ServiceNow certs work would be helpful.

My thought is that ServiceNow includes several system-generated root and default certificates OOB. Excluding this table removes them, which can disrupt standard platform operations.
You can use a Clone Data Preserver ( to ensure your custom non-prod certificates remain untouched.
