Group Manager unable to add members to group which has a Parent group link

Hi Experts, 

We have applied the configuration as suggested in the link below:
 Configure group member edit access for group managers only - Support and Troubleshooting

However, when group managers try to update their group with a parent group, they encounter an issue. Even though the "Edit" button is visible and they can add members and save them via the slushbucket, the newly added members still do not appear in the Group Member tab. We would appreciate any insights or suggested solutions regarding this matter.

The issue happens because the CREATE or READ ACLs on ⁠sys_user_grmember⁠ block the update when saved from the slushbucket.
