Guided Tour for Service Catalog Item (Specific Item)

Is it possible to provide a Guided Tour on a specific Service Catalog item? If so, how do I do that? I tried looking in the docs, but I couldn't find anything for that. It seems it has to be tied to a specific list view or other type of page. As usual, I'm probably missing something very obvious.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for this information.  However, I'm trying to create a guided tour for the Standard Change Catalog process (submit a proposal for a new template).  I followed the steps that you provided and it worked however, the "Propose a new Standard Change Template" form does not display correctly in the Service Portal, specifically the Change Template values field.

Any thoughts?

Just checking on on this one.  Has this question been answered or is there more information I can help you with?  If it's been answered, please mark the answer above as the correct one so people know this has been taken care of.  Thanks!

I am trying this on a Developer Instance in Madrid.  However, when I try to start a Guided Tour on the sc_cat_item page, I get an error message that says "You are either not authorized or record is not valid."

I was able to create one on the Index page, though every time I try to Preview it or Run it, I get a "Tour was abandoned" message.

Basically what I am trying to do is see if they fixed a major bug with Guided Tours on the Service Portal, which is if your Catalog Item is more than one page/screen long, so you need to scroll down the page, the Guided Tour messages do not move with the fields they are attached to.  They are "locked in place" on the screen, so as you scroll down the page, they no longer line up with the correct fields (rendering the tour pretty much worthless!).

Thanks
