How to combine reports

So, I have two reports.

In one report it shows the combined tickets for one group of people.

The other report shows the combines tickets for another group of people.

Both are over time. So imagine reports looking something like this when it's finished (they're columns but I'm just using random numbers here)

Report 1

22 14 32 19
January February march April

Report 2

12 15 9 12
January February March April

Now I have two reports, is there any way to combine them? I just want to have a column chart that shows one Vs the other. So with January on the X axis it would show two columns of different colours next to each other. I know I could export both reports to excel but I want to know if there's anyway to generate a graph so I can have it on a dashboard and don't have to run it everytime I want to see it.

If I was coding it I would create a variable which is all the combined users in the first report and call it A. And do the same for the second report and call it B and then graph them with each other. But I don't think it's possible here.

And I don't think it's possible to combine the reports and use one report as a reference here..

If it's not possible, that's fine, I just feels like it should be and I've spent ages googling and trying different options but to no avail.

This is my first post here so sorry if it's in the wrong forum. I think I got the best fit.

Hi

yes, you can combine two different reports.

For the approach please have look on my article Opened vs. Closed Task Records combined in one Report Chart and adopt it to your needs

Kind regards

Thank you. That's exactly what I was looking for.
I will mention that I couldn't create a report source. But using something like that I could create an additional dataset and manually duplicate the report.

Hi @Andy Farnham
