How to create a Catalog Item only available for certain non-ITIL users?

I am looking for certain customers to be able to fill in the request form and submit, but I do not want it to show in the catalog list to other customers.

Is this possible please?

Thanks,

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

You can create Service Catalog >> Catalog Definiton  >> User Criteria & then use the User Criteria in the items (Maintain item >> Item >> Look for necessary item) Available for/Not Available for related list.

Thanks,

Hi,

For this, I would recommend creating a new role. Doesn't have to have any permissions really, but just a specific role for those customers. Then within your catalog item, add the "Role" field to the form through designer. THEN, you'll need to go in to that table's client scripts and deactivate this onLoad script:

Let me know if you need more assistance.

Hi Allen,

I have created the role 'internal request forms', I have then created a short catalog item to add the role via Service Catalog >> Catalog Definiton  >> User Criteria & then use the User Criteria in the items (Maintain item >> Item >> Look for necessary item) Available for/Not Available for related list.

However, the role is not appearing, have I missed something here please?

Thanks,

Lisa

Any update on this please Allen?

Thanks,

Lisa
