How to edit Order Confirmation Widget?

I have a business requirement to make 'Delivery Information' a mandatory field in the Order Confirmation modal.  I have copied the required widgets, made my updates, and followed all steps outlined in KB0723600.  Unfortunately, when clicking 'Proceed to Checkout,' I am directed to the original widget.

 

I have followed the same steps in a PDI, with the same results.  As the linked KBA has an updated date of Feb 25, 2026, I would have expected this to work.  Hoping I can get some help here.

Unfortunately not.  This basically describes the same process as the KBA I linked.
