Hi,

Can anyone show how to force the record data into the Update set?

If you then open your update set, you will notice one or more records like:

find_real_file.png

These got the actual selected data captured. You can even open them to see this in the XML if you would like to verify.

Hi there,

Out-of-the-box, on Lists you can use "Create Application File". Just select the records you are after, and chooise Create Application File. This will create "Metadata Snapshot" in your update set.

Hello @Mark Roethof

I followed your process and the incident data is capturing in updateset where type as Metadata Snapshot.

find_real_file.png

But right after creating the application file it is stating that

find_real_file.png

What does this mean and where I can find this application file record

Thanks

Thanks,
Murthy

Yes that's correct, that's the out-of-the-box method. And it does exactly what it mentions. A file created in your current selected update set.
