Hi,

Can anyone show how to force the record data into the Update set?

If you then open your update set, you will notice one or more records like:

find_real_file.png

These got the actual selected data captured. You can even open them to see this in the XML if you would like to verify.

Other option could be using the Share "Force to Update Set". This is a UI Action which you will see on the record (or also from a List, like my previous example).

Hi Mark/ Murthy,

Can you share a complete screenshot of the entire process, please. I don't know how to get there. I am a beginner, hope you understand it

Regards

Suman P.

GO to incident table select any incident in list view which you want to capture in update set.

After then as Mark said that create Application file and proceed

It will capture the record data in update set

Hope it helps..

Thanks

Thanks,
Murthy

(obviously, first have the correct update set selected in your update set picker!)

For example, navigate to:

Incident > Open, this opens the List
Select one or more record, by checking them, for example:

find_real_file.png

Scroll down and on the bottom from the "Actions on selected rows..." select "Create Application File"
In the modal/popup you will bepresented with multiple options, though you can use the default option.
