How to increase the size of description box of task table from Dictionary?

Hi,

I've a requirement to increase the size of the description box(from task table) on NOW Mobile. Then from one of the servicenow KB article I had done few changes on 'task_instructions' column on Dictionary Table. I've increased the Max length column from 1000 to 8000. After that, description field itself vanished from NOW Mobile.

I tried backing out the update set but system isn't allowing me to do so and tried to import XML from higher instances but system isn't taking.

Is there any solution for this?
