I just completed building a database view that joins five SPM tables together. My customer asked if I could create a data dictionary for the view. I noticed that certain fields have metadata descriptions that appear when you hover over them on list views and forms, which seems to be called the "hint" field. This element describes the field and provides additional context.
I’m trying to locate these metadata descriptions for specific fields in ServiceNow, but I'm not sure which table they're on or where to find them within the platform.
Does anyone know where can I find the metadata descriptions (hint fields) associated with fields across OOTB tables in ServiceNow?
Any assistance or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
