How to make fields as read only on portal ??

Hi All,

 

How to make time zone , business phone as read only on the portal page.

I could see you are using SP portal.

you should move to ESC portal as it's new and provides unified experience

Now coming to your point, there are already couple of field level WRITE ACLs for those 2 phone fields

If you ensure you allow proper role user to update and if ACL fails for logged in user then the fields will be readonly on portal

With this you need not modify any widget etc i.e. no cloning etc required

if no one is allowed to edit then use Advanced script as this in both the field level WRITE ACLs
