How to make manager of group edit the fields of the group which they manage?

You can create a field level ACL to have the scenario working.

Tried the above ACL still the fields are read only .Please guide .

Please check if the Manager has necessary roles to edit.

to edit fields on group table user should have a user_admin or any other role. Verify what role does your manager have? After that you need to modify the write ACL which the role belongs to manager.
