How to remove link under reference field in list view?

Hi All,

I want to remove link under only one reference field not for all only one field in list view?

Please give me suggestions on this

Hi,

  You can use list control to 'omit links' for specific lists. But it will omit link form all reference fields not just one.

Omit links

Select the check box if you want links for fields that reference other files in this list. Leave this button unchecked if you always want links to be generated or if you want to control the use of links with roles (Link roles field).

Link roles

Specify the user roles required to have links generated for fields that reference other files.

There is one work around for this,

Instead of using the reference field, what if you configure the list layout to show display name:

something for eg incident you can show "incident.number"
