How to remove source count in service portal

I need help. we want to remove count for both the knowledge and catalog. how can we achieve this

but why you wish to do so?

It's a good user experience to user to see the count and why to alter the OOTB feature?

This will be a customization and add to your technical debt to maintain it.

This is expected behavior. It takes into account how many items/ KB there are and doesn’t spoil the out-of-the-box functionality or user experience and it will create technical debt.

where it was configured. i did checked the widget 'Faceted Search' but could not find the count where it is configured
