Hi,
I have a requirement. We have a assignment group called "problem_mgnt" now I want this assignment group to be only visible for problem record assignment group field. This group should be hidden in Incident for filed assignment group and for Requested item table assignment group field
Note: group should only visible in problem record assignment group and it should be hidden in Incident and requested item table
Thanks in advance 😀

if i want to have a assignment group called "problem_mgnt" to be visible on in problem table record and it should be restricted for all the other tables (ex incident, change, requested item, catalog task, incident task, etc..) in the ServiceNow instance, then what could be the best approach

No, it’s better to create a new group type and then go to Dictionary Override. From there, you can restrict it by type as required.
Currently, the Assignment Group field on the Problem table is extended from the Task table, so changing it directly would have an impact across the system. That’s why using a Dictionary Override is mandatory in this case.

@Dr Atul G- LNG this is ok, we a creating dictionary override for problem record. But still it will be visible for other tables as well.
We need this group "problem_mgnt" to be restricted to all other tables except problem table. Creating dictionary override for problem record won't be a solution i believe.

I already shared solution for that as 1st response to your post i.e. use Dictionary Override on assignment_group field and handle that restriction
You will have to create dictionary override for each of the table where you want to hide that group example RITM, INC, etc
