How to update new UI action in the related list and set the sys id to the current form in the field

I have created a new UI action in the related list, to create a new record on rm_story table. After creation, it should added to related story field on the parent table record. How to get the submitted sys_id in UI action to set on the parent table record. Please help me on this.

There is something that already exists out of the box from the backlog board. Why are you trying to create something custom. From the back log there is something you can setup called the Triage Board. This is were you can pull in things like request items, problems, etc. Basically anything that is from the task tables. You need scrum_product_owner role to setup a backlog and the triage board. Example below of the triage board.
