Do you have workflow attached approval methodology? If yes, then it should not trigger.
In case you have business rules driven approval, then might be some issues with the business rules.

Hi Venkata,
If you are using the out-of-box normal change workflow then it is ok you can still change Planned Start Date and Planned End Date even if it is approved and in Scheduled state - this is how it is working by default. ITIL user has write access to those fields and in the workflow there is no way how to go back to approvals once it is in Scheduled.
To change it you would need to either change the workflow or implement ACLs to make those fields read-only once approved. Or to combine it in a way that those fields are read-only but user has new button available (e.g. Reschedule) which goes back to New state and allows updates values but requires also run through approvals again.
Best regards,
Dominik
