I would like to know whether Agent Mobile and Now Mobile support delegate management out of the box

Hi Community,

I have implemented delegation functionality using the sys_user_delegate table and exposed it through an ESC portal page.

I would like to know whether Agent Mobile and Now Mobile support delegate management out of the box (OOTB). Specifically:

  • Can users create, update, or delete delegate records from Agent Mobile or Now Mobile?
  • Is there any OOTB mobile experience available for the User Delegates (sys_user_delegate) table?
  • If delegation is not available OOTB, has anyone implemented it through Mobile App configurations or custom experiences?
  • Are there any ServiceNow documentation references that confirm the support or limitation?

Any insights would be appreciated.

No, my recommendation is to delegate this functionality only for the web-based experience, not the mobile app. If you want to support it in the mobile app as well, you will need to build that functionality separately to ensure it works as expected. @aaaddwwwws

OOB delegation functionality is not available for Mobile app.
