Hi,
I'm setting up software asset management and SCCM is the source. I'm using the 2012 r2 plugin and everything seems good except the Software Usage (cmdb_sam_sw_usage) table isn't getting populated. Looking at the wiki, it says SCCM can populate but there's no provided data source or map. Has anyone configured this and can share the query to pull this data from SCCM?
thanks
David

Dave,
Think about applying the Metering data attributes to the software installation record.
"Last used" attribute would/should be imported to the SN record.
Reporting can them be driven from the installed report itself and dot-walking the reporting relationship to a computer report.
As an example, Running a report of all my Users who have a computer asset when the software installation of MS Project has not bee opened in the past 90 days. This is a great way to target opportunities for software harvesting by the business to re-populate license stock without additional purchasing.
