Hi
It could have been better If you have given your requirement.so anybody from community expert could have helped you.
1) If you want your system to be Authenticated Heavily, use SSO Integration with SAML
2) If You want Data to be Created into ServiceNow Module or from ServiceNow to Another system, use REST API for inbound or outbound Integration.
3) for HRSD Generally we go for SOAP.
