Invalid 'Dictionary Entry' record even though the selected outside Table 'Incident' is allowed.

I am receiving below error message while adding a new field on the Incident table. Does anybody have any idea why I am getting this error?

Hey Chuck,

I am getting following error 

Invalid 'Dictionary Entry' record even though the selected outside Table 'Contract' is allowed.

- One field is having two choice  Type

- Second fields having dependency on Field Type called Sub Type

When I try to remove dependency in Sub Type it is giving me above error.
Can you please help me here!
