Hi,
I am trying to be able to link to various tables directly through the navigation bar and am coming across certain problems.
First, is there a way to be able to find what the name of the table is. Or how to find the current table you are on?
Second, Is there a detailed list of all the parameters with explanations. ie:/ navpage.do?sysparm_view = "Insert param here"
Thanks !

Hi Richard,
Right click on the form header, Configure --> Table, should take you directly to the table dictionary where you can find the details of the table
There is a wiki for your second question. - http://wiki.servicenow.com/?title=Navigating_by_URL#gsc.tab=0

Thanks for responding,
But can you post a screenshot on where exactly to click on the form header.
I am not getting a configure option.
And the wiki is helpful for basics, but I am looking for a listing of all the parameters and their details. That wiki page and related pages only give information on how to actually use a parameter.

You can right click in the same space that the record number is (i.e. Request - REQ######), or click the stacked lines at the top left of the record to get the context menu. In Fuji, you go to "Configure > Table", or if you are on Eureka/earlier, it's "Personalize > Table".
Sorry, I have yet to see a listing of URL parameters outside of the Wiki article above.

URL navigation parameters are additional information to the web address to help control what a webpage shows or how it behaves in working for it For an example:www.example.com/page?user=123&theme=dark, user=123, and theme=dark are parameters. it is also used for tracking users, setting display preferences, etc
