Hi Team,
I have recently created a knowledge article template, it has 2 fields and have set default font & size to Public Sans & size 12pt(through the configure dictionary option).
It seems to work fine. But, if the user changes the font size to something else as shown below
then press enter, it reverts to verdana 8pt
where do I change this setting? so that it always remains Public Sans 12
Johnny

Hi,
Unfortunately, I don't think you can permanently limit the font types or sizes or set a default (other than adjusting the dictionary default for the field), but as you've seen, it can be changed after the user enters text and makes various adjustments.
I can understand your concern here and the need to have proper governance around article formatting, but this will have to most likely be a step that is reviewed within your governance process. Checking font type, size, formatting, spacing, etc. are normally things that would need to be double-checked.

Hi @Allen Andreas , I understand, while working on this I found other issue. I changed the text to HEADING 1, but it didnt change the size, (check below)
when I checked the source code, the H1 tag is also taking up the style. Any idea why?
whereas the HEADING 2 has proper size

Hi,
So I did a few tests on my end in a brand new Vancouver PDI:
What version of the platform are you on? Have you done any of adjustments to this field or knowledge article css, etc.? Please see the above screenshots for me for how things turned out.
Paragraph default for me is 8
H1 is 22
H2 is 12
H3 is 12.87?
H4 is 8
H5 is 7
H6 is 7.37?
Preformatted is 8

@Allen Andreas , Yes the client wanted the default font to be Public Sans with 12pt size, which I did configure in the dictionary of that template field. (I'm on Utah version)
Also, I have set the Heading & field style on the article template fields as below.
I guess in your case it worked fine as you didnt have the default and other field styles.
