Hi Manisha,

This still sounds like a good use case for Discovery to me.

Can you provide some additional details on what you are trying to accomplish? What is the requirement here?

Details (table names, catalog items, etc) are encouraged. Screen shots are always appreciated.

I've seen people use CURL to send request requests, but there may be more elegant ways once I know what your goal is.

Thank you

Hi Chuck,

We are not very clear with our requirement at this moment, but the table could be asset or cmdb with hardware's and software's details of assets.

We need to get the hardware's and software's details from MAC OS to our servicenow platform, now we are thinking to pull the data from MAC OS to SNOW using REST API via a MID server, and going forward the same data should keep on updating in future through POST method whenever any change occurs at MACOS's table.

Is it the right approach?

Thank you

Hi Manisha,

It almost sounds like you need Discovery to get the inventory of each Mac's hardware and software and how they are related to each other.

Hi Chuck,

Thanks a lot, let me try the Discovery option. Please do let me know if we can go for discovering the MAC os first and then pulling the data through REST API via a MID server. Can we go with this combination?

Thanks in Advance!
