Can Emails be displayed in the Card view on a VTB Board?

Received a request to add to the Activities/Filtered on Stories to include emails (autogenerated or correspondence).While I was able to do that in Story using a VTB View, they do not appear on the Card view on the VTB  Can this be done?  If so, how? ...

KB Article is showing on esc portal as "Record not found"
