millions of "NdisWan" entries are created in Network adapter tables

Hello everyone,

In our production instance there are 1,395,407 entries in cmdb_ci.list for "NdisWan".  and in our dev - a copy of prod from May 18th - there were *only* 1,350,160 which means that in less than a month the system has added 45,000 "NdisWan" CI's to prod instance.  the 'Network Adapters' tab has hundreds of these "NdisWan" entries, adding in groups of say 5 or so on a roughly weekly basis.

It looks like lots of "ndiswan" adapters are being created, So I believes I am not processing these properly.

So anyone have any guesses why this is happening or any solution to handle this situation ?

Regards,

Siddhesh

Thanks in advance!!!

Hi Siddhesh,

We are having the same issue in my organization.

at the current state we have 8M total of this CI in our CI Table. what we did as a interim workaround is we turned off the SCCM integration to service now to stop NDISWAN from creating numerous new CI.

is there a chance your org is able to fix this issue and share with us?

I'm wondering if you were already able to fix this issue and ask if you may share with us your workaround since we are facing the same issue with my org.
