Need to configure the popup message before creating standard change request record

Hey we need  to configure a Y/N confirmation pop-up window "Are you sure you want to create a new CHG?" before the new form is created. Curren;ty we click on any of the standard change template(image attached) it creates the standard change record and redirect to the form, We need to put this poup message for confirmation as users are bymistakely creating unwanted change records.

I think this may not be a valid use case. The assumption is that a user who logs a case already knows that they need a change and will follow the defined process to reach the relevant scenario and submit the required template.

Adding another validation step could negatively impact the user experience. Even when users already know that a change is required, having to click “Yes” or deal with a pop-up every time could become frustrating and feel unnecessary.

Therefore, I would suggest treating this as one of the actions within the process rather than an additional validation step. Also, if the change is no longer required, the user should have the option to cancel it at the relevant stage.
