Need to multi select records in iist reference field(not in the add multiple members popup)

Hey All,

We have a list reference field where we select a single key at a time with multiple keys showing as in list form. But, clients wants to select multiple keys at once with having check box but we can't use "add multiple members" button as we are not allowed to customize the columns shown in popup.

Is there any way to achieve above? or is there any way to attach event listener of lock icon of list reference field and call server table when user onClicks in servicenow?

Is it related to catalog item?

If yes, Instead of a standard reference field, use field type List Collector
