Hoping this is the correct forum. After adding a new field (dropdown) to our incident form, it does not appear to write when we save changes in the incident.
- We created a new table u_newtable (NewTable).
- Added a new column called Fruits
- Added two choices - Apples and Oranges
- We created a new field in our Incident form - NewTable as reference
- We added NewTable.Fruits to the incident form
- We configured the choice list specification for NewTable.Fruits to be Dropdown with --none--
Now when we either create new or edit an incident and select either Apples or Oranges, the changes do not save. What step am I missing?

This seems to be a known error:
ot-walked field values do not get saved and displays blank field on the form
Feel free to mark correct, If I answered your query.

Thanks Aman. I just tested it with a base reference table in the incident form and it was indeed bugged out!
