Not able to edit SOW form for Knowledge Article

Hi Buddy,

The Knowledge section in Service Operations Workspace (SOW) is rendered by the sn-component-workspace-knowledge application, which is an out-of-the-box private application. Because it’s private, the Knowledge form in SOW cannot be edited or extended using Form Designer, form layouts, or dictionary changes. That’s why you’re seeing the message that it cannot be edited.

Basically, you cannot add or remove fields on the OOTB Knowledge view in SOW.

If you need to change which fields are shown, the supported options are:

• Keep using the classic Knowledge form for authoring/editing.

• Or create a custom Knowledge page in UI Builder for SOW, where you can control exactly which fields are displayed and how.

Trying to modify the delivered Knowledge component directly isn’t supported and will always be blocked.

could you please share any documentation or a screenshot from your PDI with "sn-component-workspace-knowledge" app? It doesn't seem to exist...

An easy way is to open the record in the native view, change the view, and then update the field in that view.

Guys, 

last week I was able to edit the form in the SOW view and I added a custom field. I would like to remove this field, but now it is not possible because the SOW view is gone and there is only Workspace View available now which is now in  "sn-component-workspace-knowledge" application which is private. 

Why and when did the change happen?
