prioritize an Article in search results

Hello,

 

We have requirement that, As a knowledge owner, I would like to be able to add a feature to a knowledge article that would allow the customer to see the article at the top of their list of search results.

 

For this, I have created one checkbox field on knowledge form. If knowledge owner check that check box for some articles those should display  at the top of search on service portal.

We have search box on portal like below. & artcles which has check box true should display on top

How can we achieve this.

it depends whether you are using the old Zing or the new AI Search for your search.

 

For AI Search there is an option available: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-platform-administration/page/administer/ai-search/task/...

 

For Zing you have to play around with keyword weighting: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-platform-administration/page/administer/search-administ...
